I listen to many speaker demos through youtube, and once you get used to how they sound through your computer monitors, it's fairly easy to discern the differences between them. While some demos are obviously better than others, the PMC's always had this speed and clarity that I crave. I've had many speakers but these little gems are magnificent! Incredible detail, that a fine crafted metal tweeter would provide but with no harshness or fatigue. I didn't think a soft dome tweeter was capable of this extraordinary performance. "I love my PMC twenty5 22 speakers. They've been produced with great love and care. I do not regret even a bit of my purchase, actually only tiny bit of regret, which I have, is that I did not buy in oak finishing, they would be in more harmony with my room entourage (mine are in walnut finishing). Other than that, they are very good mates to produce very neutral and balanced sound without losing a sence of realism in each genre I play them, classical, jazz, and blues. I often switch them between my amplifiers Marantz, Denon, and old-school Sansui. Each pairing has plus and minus sides, so that I know for sure which combination is good for a particular style of music. Generally speaking, if I have a chance to buy speakers again, I would certainly consider PMC speakers."

"I looked at Quad z & B&W cm and a person at Audio t recommended I hear PMC. I have replaced a 1984 pair of B&W DM200 which were good but failed. Very pleased to have chosen your product as it has great definition but keeps what you are listening to as a whole. "As I near retirement with my wife and I planning to move north to a cottage I was in search for what I hoped would be my last pair of speakers. Having gone through may different brands over the years, they all left me wanting. My dealer is somewhat of an audio nerd with great knowledge of all thing audio. Knowing what I like and my system, he immediately recommended the Twenty5.22 which I auditioned liking them immediately. However, have read many reviews of other "excellent" 5 out of 5 star review, I insisted on listening to those other brands which had received great reviews, which my dealer also carried. Well, your ears will tell you far more that what your read. As we did various comparison against the Twenty5.22's those other highly recommended speaker dropped on the list of contenders in short order. The Twenty5.22 are now set up at home and I'm absolutely amazed and please how rich they sound and detailed without any brightness. The bass is in proper proportion and definition to provide excellent foundation to the mid and highs. This is the first pair of speaker that I've owned with a soft dome tweeter and all I can say is WOW, absolutely lovely!!! Slow cooking / smoking ribs listening to the blue as I write this...thank you PMC for making a properly excellent speaker. Qualify matters and well worth the cost. Cheers,"
