"I've had them for two months now and I'm still amazed about the sound they produce: Deep and fast bass, extreme clarity in the mids and highs, and a wide and detailed soundstage which makes the musicians appear live in my living room. The design, the looks ( in oak veneer) and the build quality are all immaculate and best of all, the local interior police has approved them :-). My worry about the speaker, while I waited for the delivery, was that my expectation was to high. "As a long time user of Naim hifi (ND5XS/NAC202/NAP200) I found that my Martin Logans didn't reveal the music enough. I felt that more could be possible. ML makes great products, but my room does not have the "perfect" dimensions for getting the best sound. Boomyness lured in every corner and revealed too much information. After visiting hifi shop Zwaard I knew PMC was the answer to my ¨problem". It took me minutes to understand what was going on and listened for another hour or two for sheer fun. Buying the twenty5.24 is the smartest hifi choice I have done in many years. Now listening to my collection and for the first time I hear music instead of a sonic boom. Yet the bass is strong and pure and nothing is left out. I'm a very happy customer! (And so is my girlfriend who doesn't give much about my music, but has excellent hearing. She agrees to the above)"

"Reviews of the twenty5.23 put them on my listening list although 50% more expensive than I wanted to spend. They were astonishingly better than the others I auditioned (B&W CM8, Focal Aria 926, KEF R700), mainly because they were more accurate and yet musical than these. Particularly when fast bass or vocals were involved, or rapid dynamic changes, the PMCs kept the music together so that you could hear a lot more, without losing any of the fun. The multi-driver towers actually sounded muddy with some tracks, which the 23s never did. Best examples of the differences are: the sense of the hall in Angela Hewitt's 2000 recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations, the double-time vocals of Lambert, Hendricks & Ross singing with the Brubeck Quartet on The Real Ambassadors, or the slam, strum and melodic guitar on Tamacun from Rodrigo Y Gabriela's first album. I then made the "mistake" of listening to the .23s against the .24s: the .23s seem to focus the sound at the listener, which is very appealing (although I noted a wide and accurate soundstange compared to non-PMC), but the comparative openness of the .24s is more realistic and doesn't lose the drive of the .23s. There is noticeably more tone to bass notes without losing timing (listen to Donna Lee from Jaco Pastorius's eponymous album or the bass trombone of Chris Brubeck in Concord on a Summer Night) and the slightly increased sensitivity has very subtle benefits in clarity at moderate gains on my A85 amp. Although another grand and half the step-up is worth it and I doubt I will ever be buying speakers again."

"These speakers make music sound so realistic, that they out perform my expectations. They make you realise how dull my previous speakers were. These PMC's are worthy of my SME20/3A turntable and Lyra Delos cartridge. Even though I only have a lowly Roksan Caspian M2 amp, they still sound stunning. They are easy to set up too, I have tweaked them a little, but they are not as fussy as my previous speakers. They might need extra tweaking, but they sound so amazing that it is hard to tell. Even at low volume they stay beautifully balanced and realistic. They ooze quality, every component is of high quality, and they are really pair matched. They will play any type of music so exquisitely, that you feel you are hearing exactly what the musicians and producer wanted you to. They even make you appreciate music that you previously thought you did not like. Each instrument sounds exactly how it should. They are fantastic value for money too."

"I have only had the 25.24s a couple of weeks but they are a serious upgrade and work brilliantly with my system, which comprises a Roksan Xerxes record player, Musical Fidelity A5 CD and Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista 600 amplifier. Despite their sensitivity and ease to drive, they seem to give more and more when partnered with good equipment. They seem to thrive on the power and grip of a good amplifier and are hugely revealing without ever tending towards harsh or grating, even on less than great recordings. I am very pleased with bass delivery, which is on another level for me as I had quite small stand mounters before. The bass is full but tight, fast and controlled, which suits the fast and accurate Xerxes. The laminair and ATL technology really seems to deliver here. When I first switched on the system with the PMCs attached it felt like I was hearing what the front end components and amp could truly deliver. I have been keen to re-explore my CD and record collection. Some recordings just sound significantly better and others actually sound really different because the speakers do not seem to colour the recording....easier on the ear, tidier and refined, with bags of detail and everything identifiable in the soundstage. My feeling is that the speakers deliver the truth and nothing but the truth, but also manage to make music beautifully, which just makes me want to sit and listen. That must be the ultimate endorsement! They emit virtually no sound and vibration rearward as the cabinets are so taught and neutral. This is important if you have to have your hifi stack to one side, nearer one of the speakers as I do. Even my wife, who is in no way a hifi buff, was rather awed by the dramatic and gripping delivery on some of her favourite tracks, even if she will never quite come to terms with how speakers can cost over 4 grand!! The icing on the cake is that they look beautiful too. Their dramatic but simple lines look contemporary and elegant in oak veneer. They look part of the furniture and stand elegantly alongside my oak hifi rack."
