"I first heard these at a hi-fi show a couple of years back and was impressed by the scale and reproduction of recordings from what are relatively small floorstanders. I don't have the largest of rooms and I knew these would fit in perfectly but at the time they were beyond my budget. "I listened to the original version of the Twenty 23 @ the Bristol Show and loved them but when I listened to them at home, I found them too bright. It was a similar story with the second version but then I heard the 23is with my Naim SuperNait 2 and Naim ND5XS2 streamer. What can I say? I was moved by the music I heard and instead of feeling disconnected to the recordings, I felt immersed in the music and fell in love with the speakers. My set up with Naim speaker cable and a Chord Shawline interconnect will give me many years of musical pleasure to come. Great job PMC!!!!!"

"I love the openness, dynamic scale and detail resolution of the speakers - they really do allow my Cyrus components to shine in terms of the timing and detail. The bass response from a fairly small cabinet is also remarkable thanks to the design. It was important for me to have speakers that worked well with my home cinema too, and they certainly do that. My only slight quibble would be that the high frequencies in some voice recordings are a little sibilant - although this is very much down to individual recordings - it is still more noticeable as the Cyrus / PMC combination tends to be less forgiving and a little bright. This is not to take away from the remarkable clarity in the vocals, nuances can be detected that I had never heard in recordings before. The form factor suits my room and they are a well finished product. Overall, these have been an excellent purchase, breathing new life into my music collection and bringing joy to my ears!"

"I am just so amazed how well these speakers perform in our living room. Room is not optimized for hifi in any way, but everything still seems to be in right place just perfectly. My previous setup was with gradient six and rel subwoofer, which was not bad setup, but everything is just so much more balanced now. I have not missed my sub once after this change, bass goes almost as low as with sub, but so much more balanced way. And compared to Gradients, PMCs just sound so much bigger and more defined. "Compared to my previous pair of Mission 702e, which were 20 years old, the Twenty5 23i immediately sounded clearer and sharper, especially in the medium and high frequency ranges. The bass at first sounded weaker but that impression disappeared as soon as I turned up the volume slightly (I just acquired a new M5si amplifier from Musical Fidelity, which sounds terrific with my new PMC speakers). I just installed the speakers yesterday evening so I have no further feedback at this stage. But my general impression is great."
